This gem evolved from an uninspired task brief: Create some promotional materials highlighting the new Audi TT for an upcoming event. After watching some impressive footage of the actual event; Melbourne’s White Night, an annual culture and light festival, we decided we could do better than some intrusive tear drop banners.

We choreographed a sexy custom light performance featuring the unmistakable headlights of two brand new Audi TTs. We worked with the best lighting designers in Australia to ensure the experience was worthy of shooting and sharing with friends over social channels. Icing on the cake for me, was my first choice music option came through (this never happens). Owl Vision, a talented Swedish music producer, had served as inspiration for the project and now would be the heart pumping soundtrack.

Activation
The new Audi TT looks smart, aggressive and masculine – this aesthetic and attitude influenced the tone for our output.

Audi would be one of several new brands having presence at the festival and there was already some grumbling about the festival turning too corporate. We were able to make Audi feel like an integrated sponsor of the event, like we belonged in this arts festival. Ultimately creating buzz for Audi and the festival itself.
